The Son of God

Born in a lowly cattle stall.
He came to raise us from the fall.
He was a man – full flesh and blood.
But his heart beat with His Father’s love.

Three years he taught and showed the way.
How they should live and how to pray.
He taught them truth and lived in peace.
Promised their burdens he’d release.

He came to earth to pay our debts.
He gave His life with no regrets.
Nailed to a cross – the pain was real.
The blood He shed He used to heal.

Three days He lay deep in the grave.
Then He arose with power to save.
So how do we this love repay.
Just live in faith and walk His way.

The Son of God – our only hope.
The blood He shed – makes us white as snow.
No more must we in sin abide.
The Son of God – is now by our side.
