Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate anyone’s effort to participate in charitable efforts, especially when it is for the troops. But am I the only one who thinks it is just a little ironic to raise money for brain trauma victims by having men get into a cage and try to beat each other senseless? You don’t see MADD raising money by sponsoring drinking contests at the local bar. And I’m fairly certain Michael Vick wasn’t endorsing dog fights to assist the local Humane Society. So where is the rationale behind putting people in a position to end up in the same position as the ones they are trying to help? I guess it is too much for my logical feminine mind to comprehend.
